The 30 Second Mystery 45 - Where?

There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.

Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged.

Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read.

The Case:
A group of people comes across a body. After examining the corpse, the group notes that the body is incomplete. Still, they maintain that the victim died a natural death.

The Mystery:
Where was the body found and what is the group's occupation?

No answer, but I'm envisioning one of those mutilated cows with aliens standing around it...

A pound of flesh

A man cut off a significant portion of a limb and ate it before dying of blood loss.

Clue: The people have no medical training.

Found in a Archaeological dig. The group is a bunch of Archaeologists.

Lotronex 02-02-2004 02:45 PM

damn class making me miss these, first thing I though of when I read this was archeologists opening tombs in Egypt.

BonesCPA 02-02-2004 02:51 PM

The deceased had previously had a limb amputated, which had nothing to do with the eventual death.

dfence 02-02-2004 04:58 PM

Found in a Pyramid in the tomb where a mummy lays. They are Archeologists.

RAGEAngel9 02-02-2004 05:26 PM

I'll go with dfence's answer since, when mummified the internals are removed and put into jars.

Well no points for me

In a mountain, mountain climbers.

If the body is decomposed, it's incomplete... the natural death part might be a stretch.

In a Leper colony. Corpse died from Leprosy and had some portion of its body fall off. The group is the corpses fellow leper colony residents.
