The 30 Second Mystery 41 - Where?
 

There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.

Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged.

Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read.

The Case:
Two men spent every day and night together. A third man waited for them nearby. Going outside could kill them, but they went for short walks and drives anyway.

The Mystery:
Where were the men?

I was going to say prison, but seeing that it was taken:

Moon Colony

how about, the third man was in the command module, and the other 2 were on the surface of the moon during the Apollo missions.

(not a moon colony, and not technically space for the 2 on the moon)

Yeah, I was going to say on the moon, moon walk and drives while another is in the space capsule orbiting.

Yeah I reckon it's the moon

maybe 2 important people hunted down by a serial killer, so going outside could kill them
