Meridae'n 07-09-2003 03:30 AM

What's the collective noun for a group of smurfs? And shouldn't it be 'smurves'?

Minx 07-09-2003 08:07 AM

If mares eat oats
and does eat oats
and little lambs eat ivy
will a kid really eat ivy too?
Isn't that hard on their digestive system? :hmm:

Conclamo Ludus 07-09-2003 08:28 AM

Who is my avatar a picture of?

JadziaDax 07-09-2003 02:29 PM

Meridae'n: As far as a "collective" of Smurfs, I think they're quite extinct now... but did you know that the Smurfs were based on Belgian Pierre "Peyo" Calliford's 1957 comic "Schtroumpfs"... It's a fact :D

Minx: The whole little song goes as follows:

I know a ditty nutty as a fruitcake
Goofy as a goon and silly as a loon
Some call it pretty others call it crazy but they all sing this tune: Mairzy Doats And Dozy Doats and liddle lamzy divey
A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?
Yes!
Mairzy doats And Dozy Doats and liddle lamzy divey
A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?

If the words sound queer, and funny to your ear, a little bit jumbled and jivey,
Sing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy"
Oh! Mairzy Doats and Dozy Doats and liddle lamzy divey
A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you - oo?
A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?

So, as you can see... no animals were harmed in the singing of this song :D

Conclamo Ludus: Hey, looks like my cousin... how do you know my cousin???? ;)

rmarshall 07-09-2003 05:43 PM

Dax, I was wondering if you have strange markings on your body like this girl here:

http://www.startreksite.com/crews/dax.jpg

richeee 07-09-2003 08:08 PM

Of course She does!!!! What are You, CRAZY?

Meridae'n 07-10-2003 04:51 AM

How much is a 2002 'S' Pack Holden Commodore going to set me back? Silver if you can...

Conclamo Ludus 07-10-2003 12:46 PM

Its not your cousin, see. If I type see after every sentence, see. It will be giving you a clue, see. Another hint, see:

Famous for playing a tough as nails gangster in such classic movies as Key Largo with Humphrey Bogart, see. There now all you have to do is look it up on imdb, see. He used to say see at the end of his sentences all the time, see.

JadziaDax 07-10-2003 07:24 PM

rmarshall: There's only one way to find out ;)

richeee: maybe he is...

Meridae'n: Are we talking new or with some mileage on it? Maybe around $30k... possibly... found this one for you http://www.ianparkermotors.com.au/In...1760+/1820.htm

Conclamo Ludus: but how do you know that Ed Robinson is NOT my cousin? ;) (I knew who it was all along..)

Conclamo Ludus 07-10-2003 07:26 PM

DAMN! You got it, see. Is he really your cousin? :D

richeee 07-10-2003 07:54 PM

well, of course he is- his "title" says so....
We all know that Edward G Robinson is Your cousin- where has Conclamo Ludus been?!
Real Questions:
How do I get that freakin' marezoat song outta my head??!!!???

Are You mad at me for not answering the "Getting To Know You" questions seriously? (I will, soon...)
What's the latest on the JD/RR nuptials?
Since You and I can't seem to have a (legal) future together, how do You feel about Minx?
JD and RR in Las Vegas? What are the odds for late October?

By the way- THANKS FOR THE TITS!!!!!:) :o :D ;) :p    :hmm: :icare:   :suave:

JadziaDax 07-10-2003 08:03 PM

Conclamo Ludus: If I tell you, I'd have to kill you ;)

richeee: start singing "the wheels on the bus..."
Of course I'm not angry with you.
The latest on the nuptials - still planning...
Minx is a great lady as far as I've seen.
Neither of us have vacation time at the moment... working on RR's move... so don't think either of us will make it to Las Vegas. Sorry.
And, you're welcome ;) It was long overdue.

MacGnG 07-10-2003 08:05 PM

new avatar? 'tis nice. :D

ok so,
Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?

richeee 07-10-2003 08:13 PM

richeee: start singing "the wheels on the bus..."

Oh Shit--- I'm doomed................
"Mares eats wheels and does eats buses, and......................................"
*Damn, sigh...*

JadziaDax 07-10-2003 08:22 PM

MacGnG: in my pants... wanna look?

richeee: or how about Barney's little ditty... "I love you... You love me..."

Meridae'n 07-10-2003 08:23 PM

What is the worst cuss word someone can say?

Why is Fremen scared of moths?

MacGnG 07-11-2003 11:45 PM

well if you're offering, it would be rude not to accept.

JadziaDax 07-12-2003 08:06 AM

Meridae'n: WORK
And Fremen's a wimp... moths aren't scary. ;)

MacGnG: you're supposed to phrase that in the form of a question... like Jeopardy.

MacGnG 07-12-2003 12:23 PM

JadziaDax, May I look in your pants for Carmen Sandiego? :D
  • Should "question" be spelled "kwestyun"?
  • Is the letter C really neccessary, we already have K and S?
  • Name a few things man has, that he shouldn't.

JadziaDax 07-12-2003 04:14 PM

MacGnG: I'm not wearing pants
and -
  • no, it should be kweschun
  • Without the letter C, how would you spell cheese? K and S don't work in there.
  • There's not enough bandwidth for that list ;)

MacGnG 07-13-2003 06:02 PM

i been dissed with my own bullet list, but u aint got no pants on so its all good :D

lol
everything should be spelled fanetikly
didnt think of CH
true

Meridae'n 07-13-2003 11:12 PM

Why does it sound like Peter Garett's singing "Who's gunna shave me" in 'Blue Sky Mine' by Midnight Oil?

Minx 07-14-2003 11:20 AM

How long have you "known" richeee for and is he as nice as he seems? :D

JadziaDax 07-14-2003 07:12 PM

Meridae'n: because you're hearing things

Minx: since he's been here on TFP... and it depends on how much he pays me to answer that question ;)

richeee 07-15-2003 07:08 AM

*richeee sends Jadzia a Pay Pal,
and then starts singing the Purple Dinosaur song...all day!*
sigh...

JadziaDax 07-15-2003 05:34 PM

richeee: wasn't enough... oh, and the next song in the jukebox is "Yellow Submarine"...

In the town that I was born
lived a man who sailed the seas
and he told us of his life
in a Yellow Submarine....

We all live in a Yellow Submarine,
A Yellow Submarine,
A Yellow Submarine...

Meridae'n 07-15-2003 05:44 PM

How many bricks make up a wall?

MacGnG 07-15-2003 06:06 PM

richeee 07-15-2003 07:22 PM

Damn it! Now I'm stuck with a bunch of purple mares, eating oats, bleating a Ringo song, riding in a bus!
At least You didn't curse me with the Brady Bunch Theme!

Oh shit!!!
"Here's a story, 'bout a man named Brady..."

grayman 07-15-2003 11:25 PM

If i were going to say that someone is very good at giving head and wanted to say that they are very good at the "_____ arts", how would I conjugate fellatio to fit in the blank?

JadziaDax 07-16-2003 01:43 AM

Meridae'n: depends on how big a wall you want and what types of bricks you want to use... but the standard masonry unit is 4x2 2/3x8" or 4x4x12", so figure out which direction you want to place the bricks in, and how large you want the wall... then calculate how many bricks you will need.

MacGnG: That would really depend on what we're talking about. Phone - wireless. Vibrator - corded (more power and no worry about it the batteries dying out). ;)

richeee: Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny Ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the Skipper brave and sure, Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour.
A three hour tour...

grayman: First, one does not "conjugate" a noun (fellatio is a noun - see below). What you could say is that they are very good at the "art of fellatio".

Meridae'n 07-16-2003 04:38 PM

Why is the 'Hundred Year War' called that if it went for 116 years?

JadziaDax 07-16-2003 08:03 PM

Meridae'n: because the French can't count.

MacGnG 07-17-2003 02:10 PM
