Safety Word
Sitting my office the other day and we happened upon the subject of feeling uncomfortable discussing things (not that anything makes us uncomfortable, just about anything goes). We came around to the subject of a safety word.. The old stand by being
Camper The guy I share an office with looks over at me ans goes. My safety word is: Get you dick out of my ass.. Anyway it was funny. Just curious if we can compile a list of peoples safety words.. FYI the safety word is the word you use if you're doing something new or dangerous or possibly uncomfortable for you partner. They would use that word to indicate that they want you to stop. |

"HOLD!" in bed kinda means "The show is cancelled, stop everything you are doing and apologize to be sure you didn't hurt me" but asking for "mercy" means "That was over the line, just keep going but don't do THAT again".

After some reading on D/S relationships and scenes, we've adopted what others have done:
Yellow = don't stop yet, but please back off of what you are doing Red = STOP NOW. Made sense, so long as you aren't one of those people that normally interpret 'Yellow' to mean 'Go like HELL!!!'. |
I took mine from the great movie Half Baked "ABRA-CA-DABRA" !
