Pancakes or waffles?
 

Well? Which would you rather have as a breakfast item?

i would like them in a bucket, together, with maple syrup... now.

seriously, i´d have to go with the pancake option.

(can someone tell me about this Canadian breakfast thing with pancakes and bacon and maple syrup and stuff... i think it sounds great!)

Shit waffles all the way. I fuckin love waffles. I used to eat them shits every morning for breakfast when I was in college. See what I like to do is take a waffle, put sliced banana on top of it; then drizzle strawberry syrup on top of it, then put strawberry ice cream on top of that, and if I have them...sliced strawberries as well. Then I drizzle more strawberry syrup on top of that and put another waffle on top of it all like a sandwhich and drizzle a square on top of the last one for the last bite. Fuck now I want waffles :(

Homemade waffles taste better to me than pancakes.
Syrup is great, but sometimes I like to smear smooth peanutbutter on one waffle, then jam or jelly on the other.
Sprinkle mixed nuts in between and eat it like a sandwich. Yum!

waffels! plus they are alot easier to eat on the way to work than pancakes when your running late!

I'm gonna have to go with waffles, simply because it's easier to finish your stack of waffles than it is to finish your stack of pancakes. Waffles are lighter, even when weighed down with syrup, and not so hard to get through.

I have a hard time making my way through three big pancakes laden with syrup, but three waffles I can usually do.

I am in a loving, committed relationship with the waffle. That being said, I go to the east side of town occasionally and hook up with a pancake. This is just between you and me. What the little waffle doesn't know will not hurt her.

Waffles. My wife wouldn't make pancakes for me at 4:30 AM.

maybe waffles are more interesting at times but my own personal multi-grain pancake recipe doesn't do very well in an iron.

I don't like plain waffles...I want something in them...pecans...bacon bits...apples...something

I will happily stop at a Waffle House and devour the goodness set in front of me.

For me, its WAFFLES! Screw pancakes! Those stupid things never taste that great and the syrup is always running off them then they get too soggy too quick...

The best waffles are belgian waffles!! Nice and thick and sweet, and you can load them up with syrup and powder sugar, maybe some whipped cream and some sprinkles.. or add some chocolate syrup instead of maple... or even add some sliced strawberries or bananas, or blueberries into the mix... mmmm.... I could go for some waffles right about now!

Which one ya got? Don't give me a choice, just put 'em on the plate and get outta the way. Most restaurants can make decent pancakes, but really good waffles are rare IMO. One the side, next to a nice omelet, make it pancakes.

toaster waffles suck. Now a good Belgian waffle..with strawberries, maple syrup and maybe, if your feeling really adventurous, some whip cream and/or ice cream. That just can't be beat.

Waffles are nice, but pancakes are the perfect breakfast food.

I love 'em both, but I'd prefer a tall stack of flapjacks with butter and <b>real</b> maple syrup from Vermont or Canada. You can pour Mrs. Butterworths down the drain.

Gonna have to go with waffles, but pancakes are good too.

Wrap around stick of butter.
