Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. I stole this from another message board I go to.. I thought it was pretty interesting. I had no trouble reading it  |

It still amazes me how few people use the smell checker.... |

I usually read over messages so fast that I didn't notice that the words before the first comma were messed up. I thought it was fine up till there. |

There is one point to make, that does work for smaller words, yes. but the larger you get, the harder it gets, ie:
ruulociids - ridiculous ilidencrbe - incredible. ubuuoagimbs - unambiguous and of course: aiiiiieaeaannntttdssssblhmrm - antidisestablishmentarianism :D |

i can't believe it was that easy to read, i could see it was fucked up but still read it with no problem....huh...well thats amazing
|
too cool.... and quite true in my case.
|
Amazingly read it fine. Then again, I've made a point to proof reading many of people's letters for gaming news and just for friends in general. There is also a guy I talk to online who often just leaves words out on accident. Seeing this, I'm used to deciphering typoes and everything else. So I can see why I made it out. one or two typoes I suppose is ok, but if one keeps making tons of typoes and doesn't fix them, they will come off as not the brightest person around. Of course, you can only read it if you are familiar with the word they are "trying" to spell.
|
I read it just fine so apparently it is true.

cool post, I could read it fine
Of course if we couldn't speedily read mispelled words then the internet would have evolved quite differently now wouldn't it? |
