Quick reply Vs Reply
I have been postin on this forum for a few months now, but today realised i have never used the reply function. I like just using the quick one at the bottom, even for the more longer and profound posts. Mainly due to my 56K i don't want to "overburden" it with another page to load

![]() i' always use the quick reply unless i want to add hyperlinks or smilies or ... i know the code, but hey somebody but a lot of energy in the interface so why not use it. ![]() for most post the quick reply is more than sufficient.

I've noticed that when you use the quick reply you can't go back and correct mistakes....... it's weird, sometimes you can and sometimes you can't, I'll write something out then notice a mistake..... go to correct, Damn it! the letters overwrite each other.... It really pisses me off when I've written something long

I guess my preference is the quick reply, as I've never even thought to use the "add reply" button. And now, come to think of it, I'll continue not to, gosh durnit.
Ashton, about that overwriting business... not that I'm saying you'd ever make this kind of mistake (but I have), sometimes when hitting or holding "backspace" to erase the mistake, one can accidentally hit "insert" and achieve the effect you mentioned... just a possibility mind you. |
