Stretch Armstrong
How many of you have had a ' Stretch Armstrong '? And how many of you have had this toy for more than a week without cutting him up with scissors to see what makes him tick ? I would of liked to be in the R&D lab when stretch was invented . Better yet , I would of liked to pitch the idea to the Kenner toys . "I have an idea for a new super hero. He should be made of a material that will allow children to stretch his limbs up to 4 times the width of his body, and they'll snap right back into place! His accessories should be a pair of shorts and thats it . " Heh . I think Stretch has encouraged a whole generation of scrotum yankers !

I never had a Stretch Armstrong, but we did have some stretchy wrestlers. I don't remember which ones, but I remember we poked holes in the armpits so every time you raised his arm white stuff would come out.

I had one. I cut a slice into him within the first week. I still remember the smell, consistency and look of that goop and it has been almost 30 years. Yikes.

In the 90s, they tried to bring Stretch Back. They made these crazy Villians that look like Burnt Pudding and gave Stretch's dog like a Nuclear Bomb or something.
I had a Mini-Stretch once. It was like Regular Stretch, except about half the size. I put him in the freezer and then his arms snapped off

I never had one and the only person I knew who did would go nuts if someone suggested destroying the toy just to find out what was in the sucker. So from what I read it was fine sand and then later became some sort of goo?... interesting...
not really, but I have always wanted to cut one open.

I never actually had one, and like everyone else, all my friends cut theirs open within an hour. Why can't we use this technology for something useful?

I didn't have one, but I played with it in pre-school all the time. I want one now, though.
