Hot Power Outage...
For those of you who don't live on the Eastern Seaboard or listen to the news, it was without power for a few hours today, I don't know how long exactly...I was asleep for a while. But now for the most part its working where I live...New York City.
What did you do with your time without power? I slept...and read.

Ummm...i was at work up here in Massachusetts and a few surrounding towns ran off the new york power grid,so they were out. we did have a surge and some lights went off in the store i work at. Other than that it wasnt bad up here...altough i have see what happened in NYC with everyone walking home from work and people getting trapped in subways and elevators....crazy....

Isn't it funny how use to stuff we get. Like power, you lose it for a period of time and all hell brakes lose. We rely so much on stuff that can stop working and it turns you life upside down. And we have only had this like power for a short period of time. I remember grandma telling me stories of getting ice delived to her house. And now only 50 years down the track we take ice for granted. Go to the fridge and its there. I just think its kinda funny.
