When wiping, sit or stand?
 

I'm a sitter, but there was a big arguement among some friends over drinks one night. Sitting is more common right? Or is it?

OK, logistically, standing makes no sense....

If you're standing then your butt cheeks are closer together, making it more difficult to wipe, not to mention that what's there to be wiped is more likely to spread in area. Now, if you're sitting, the cheeks are spread apart - same reason it's cleaner to do your business sitting than standing as well - so wiping is more efficient.

I'm a sitter. Heck I didn't even know it was possible to stand and wipe your ass at the same time. It definitely seems like it would be messier.

Apparently so far, over 20% of people who voted are standers(that should include hoverers.) More votes needed so I can take this information to my standing friends and convince them to sit down and think it over.

I wish I had one. You get so clean. What about wiping after the bidet? Do you use a towel? How often do you change the towel?

I would like to admit that I am one of the minorities who stand up to wipe their ass. If you don’t stand up, you may have overlooked some poop clogged in your rectum. But if you are stand, you simply gather toilet paper to clean your ass, then review the cleanliness of toilet paper to determine if the process needs to be repeated.

Another point, most of the public toilets are quite dirty, so why would I want to sit on the crappy for longer than it is necessary.

This is the most disturbing poll I've ever seen.

Maybe in the shower; if for some unknown reason toilet had ran out. I guess that would be more of a bent stand. At first I was wondering why the hell someone would post this, but then again why the hell am i answering it. Maybe it nonsense.

I hover if i stood people could see my head while I wipe my ass. So yeah hover...more towards sitter.

If you are blind, when do you know you are done wiping?

This has been bothering me for some time.

i put one foot on the sink and the other on the floor to spread my ass cheaks open like a keg and dig down to gather the remaining feces.

I am a stander. To all those who don't get it, you don't stand up straight, you stand then bend over which will spread the cheeks. It's cleaner that way IMHO. I can't believe I am telling strangers how I wipe my ass.

I recently tried standing and wadding. I had to take a fucking shower afterwards. Sitting folders rule!

sit, most of the time, what i woudnt do to have a bidet, but there too damn expensive :P
