Who/What's my avatar?
I'm going to be updating this periodically whenever I feel like changing my avatar. It's kind of a game-ish thing... here's how it works. Whenever I change my avatar, I'll update the thread to say that I have changed it. The object is this: guess who/or what my avatar is. Most of the time it's going to be a person. If people don't get it for a while by looking or by the context clues provided in my title, then I'll give hints.
I'll start off with the avatar I have now. This one's really easy, though, as I've posted it in a thread and talked about it in IRC... I'm pretty sure that people will get it right away. Not to fear, the thread won't die easily after this, as, due to the fact that when reduced to the size that it is now my avatar doesn't look nearly as good, I might change it soon. That's not to say that I don't like this one, it's just saying that the image is unfortunately distorted. So without further adieu... go.

Wow. You actually found my "Zevonist" definition on UrbanDictionary. 1 Bonus Point to Bones.
Oh, by the way... I forgot that I'll be awarding points for this. They'll mean something eventually. Glophead has 2 points for getting both parts of last one right. Bones has 1 point now. I'll award a bonus point for whoever figures out the signifigance of the title.

Yeah, also, I'd like to add this: just so that this thread gets a longer run, let's try for as little google use as possible. Google makes it a little too easy. Google isn't illegal, though, it's just frowned upon. Try only to use it if you have a good idea, but just want to affirm it.
Continue.

That would be Frank's sometime partner in crime, Captain Beefheart
This is the only album (CD actually) of his that I have. 'Puffed and flabulant' sounds like part of a Zappa lyric, but I can't place it. Will take me hours to listen through all my Zappa albums.

You've got the band right... that's 1 point.
1 point will be awarded for the pictured person's name, and another 1 point for anyone who can name what song's video the avatar is taken from I'd also like to award Bones a point for being generous enough to withdraw his answer for the last one.

Daryl Taberski is correct, and Coagulate is absolutely correct. Good job. +2 points to you, that brings you to a commanding lead at 6.
As I have an avatar lined up that I am ready to keep for a while, I'll let people redeem their points in exchange for a chance to use their avatar as a subject for it. You can do as many as you have points, and you can award up to 5 points per avatar for different aspects of the figuring (as I did). To review the points: Bones: 6 Glophead: 2 ogre840: 1 platypus: 1 numberfive: 1 First taker from that list is free to have a go...

Erm, I believe he's done with the game and giving the people with points a chance to temporarily take over?
