Malt liquor has got to be one of those things that never made it outside of the US - at least not over to Australia.

Never tasted it, never seen it in stores.

Anyway, we've got plenty of other stuff in our liquor stores.

how it's made, malt liqour has a higher alcohol content than beer.

this is all i could find without looking to hard about cream ale:
"What makes cream ale cream ale? I heard somewhere that you use both ale and lager yeast. It might be a special 2 step fermentation."

Olde English is the best malt liquor, it's a classic name and you don't have to force it down like other malts. Reasonably smooth for a malt brew.

Steel Reserve is my favorite. It tastes nasty but the alcohol content is over 8%, so you don't care for very long. The explosive diaharrea the next morning isn't too fun, though, but it comes with the territory.

Unfortunately the one restaurant that had it locally hasn't had it for awhile.

When I do drink a 40 i drink that Steel Reserve.......... talk about getting blasted............ it does taste kinda nasty till your about half done though....
