I mow my own. After having several years of renting and not having one, I enjoy yardwork.

What do you do?

I live in a college dorm room... what yard? :)

After moving to Texas from Arizona - my grass of choice is <i>still</i> rock. Not the best thing for resale value here, though.

Yeah - I cut it myself. Never had any kids, so I'm stuck with the job.

if i had a yard, i would mow it myself. but of course, that assumes i would have to own a lawnmower first.

I mow, but then I have a very small lawn. Actually, I'm getting ready to till it up and sod a new one.

Yard? My "yard" consists of about a foot of grass behind the house, a small concrete lip, and then a loooooonnng drop down a sheer cliff to the back yard of the house below mine. And they're building a pool right below my bedroom window as we speak. Wheee!!

Nope. Someone else does it for me. I guess it's part of the rent. Quite convenient, really. Ah...laziness.

College apartment. When I'm at home though my parents gave up trying to get me to do it so they started hiring some people to do landscaping. Not much to landscape so it doesn't cost too much.

College apt as well...but when I'm home I mow :) It's good exercise!

When I had a yard (before it died) I mowed it... my mother made me.

i have almost an acre of lawn; i have to mow it...don't trust the neighborhood kids with gas-powered machinery...

Yes, I do. A bunch of the folks in my neighborhood have yard/landscaping services - you never see them outdoors, working in the yard.
I would never do that. Working outdoors on yard and landscape stuff is great exercise and gets you out in nature. Some luxuries are better eschewed in favor of the DIY way.

I used to love to mow the yard, and be outside.
However after being stung over 100 times by a swarm of yellowjackets, and winding up in the hospital, I am now alergic to everything outside.
I still try once in a while......then suffer for the next week!!

i live in a new subdivision in a new house, so no grass yet! When they finally give me grass though I'll certainly do my own yardwork

i love cutting the grass, i have just over an acre. its my time alone.

When I'm home, yeah.............all 3 acres of it (it stretches out around our barns and all our other buildings). Let's just say our lawn mower is a bit bigger than your average ones.

My parents make me.

I rent. So, no mowing, but I do water the lawn and the plants. I'm looking forward to owning a home someday and mowing my own yard.

I mow mine but three of my neighbors are trying to create their very own jungle by not mowing theirs.
