Is this going to evolve into a guessing game, or am I the only one of us that really likes structured doings & tellings-us-what-to-do?

Jetee, let's see where this thread goes. So far, my guess is that it will be in the Fun Zone fairly soon since it seems to be a very free-form thread.
In other words, don't curate someone else's thread. "Don't curate someone else's thread." The_Jazz

I more readily invest in such self-entitled "moderate" duties to themes in which I've enraptured myself within (read as: "created"). Additionally, I'm all about adding conversation in rattling places, because, how else will we get anywhere if we just follow the examples, and not the rules? The question was more aimed at Vodka, and the response to which would follow. So, while I'm not seeking to curate or reform this thread in any manner, (yet! Haho!) I am sincerely asking the OP to expand upon his initial premise with a simple explanation, if he is willing. I love my (all) context, and it serves me the better to abide by it (lest I fall into the void). I also think (this is me thinking here) I am truly ruining parenthetical thoughts for everyone who comes across an instance of one of my posts. There's also me just realizing the couldn't be simpler formula to this is a Who [person] said What [quote], and here I am asking how is this thread supposed to structured? - - - - - continued... Tak (yes) as Jazz assumes, purely a free-form thread Jetee.
One of my browsers home pages is a NZ site containing various info like news, lotto results, weather and anything else you want info on. The info is selective and one of the choices I ticked was Quote/Thought of the Day and therein, is where the thread originated from. "With my wife I don't get no respect. I made a toast on her birthday to 'the best woman a man ever had.' The waiter joined me." Rodney Dangerfield (whoever he is) btw, Uncle Phil, your signature's first quote is so, so accurate. I bought Tom Weiner's Legacy of Ashes, the History of the CIA a while back now and was stupefied how the American govt have been so stupid but that would create a political debate so I'll leave it there. I also don't follow our own politics so I'd be unable to debate the subject matter sufficiently.

Even when we joke about him, he still gets no respect. (and I'm sure he wouldn't have it any other way (pause) who am I talking about here? /existentialism)

“I think it’s really tragic when people get serious about stuff. It’s such an absurdity to take anything really seriously … I make an honest attempt not to take anything seriously: I worked that attitude out about the time I was eighteen, I mean, what does it all mean when you get right down to it, what’s the story here? Being alive is so weird.” --(Frank Zappa)
