not a 'protest sign', per se; more like a 'homeless sign'.

(still debating whether or not we need a commons, new or not, for these as well.)

People lay underneath the iconic Wall Street bull during a rally in the financial district
against the proposed government buyout of financial firms September 25, 2008 in
New York City. In response to the global financial crisis, dozens of protesters, from
a variety of activist groups, denounced the capitalist system, Wall Street and the
Bush administration. (Getty Images)

Although war became his arena, McCullin also took extraordinary domestic photographs.
Here, those two worlds collide with two photographs of anti-war demonstrations in London from the 1960s.

In case I haven't said it as of yet, thank you for your continued contributions to just a few of my topics, uncle phil. I appreciate the thought more often than I do some of the posts themselves (not a backhanded compliment) but I observe them in a heightened sense of, "what was the meaning here?", so again, thank you.
