Bernard's watch. What would you do?

If you had a old fashioned stop watch, pressed the button on the top of it, and time stopped.

What would you do?

I'd do so much, but first off, id do something crazy, just for the crack, like stroll to town, strip a load of people naked and put nudist signs in there hands :) Damn, i'd make good youtube videos. Aha.

What would you do?

I'd take you in my arms & appreciate your presence indefinitely.

It's best to put on a happy face, right before the singularity swallows.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-12-2009 05:36 PM

I like sex action

BadNick 10-12-2009 07:37 PM

If I press the button again, will time start again?

If no one could answer that because they're all frozen in time, I would try that first.

JumpinJesus 10-12-2009 08:10 PM

I'd return the watch; it's obviously defective.

Baraka_Guru 10-12-2009 08:13 PM

Wait...if time stopped, how could we do anything?

inBOIL 10-12-2009 09:23 PM

Nothing, unless I could overcome the difficulty of imparting infinite acceleration to the matter around me.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-12-2009 09:39 PM

Difficulties must become as invisible as everything else if time stops, but I'd like y'all to refer back to where you might also prefer to have it do so.

ONE FOR ALL.

donmaytee 10-12-2009 11:02 PM

Gonks, time stops, but you can carry on ;) And yeh, time starts again!

uncle phil 10-13-2009 03:22 AM

i'd take it to the watch repair shop and get it fixed..

damn thing was a birthday present from a totally babelicious lady...

cheese 10-13-2009 04:29 AM

if you smashed the watch would time restart or would the universe remain frozen for all Un-time?

wooÐs 10-13-2009 04:51 AM

I'd go 'shopping.'

A laptop and a new tower, various electronics, housewares, top of the line hair/skin/make up items, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Exactly! The first problem would be overcoming the infinite inertia of the air molecules around me. Even if I could figure out a way to slip between them, their infinite friction would set my clothes on fire. Of course, they couldn't burn properly once the flames get outside my personal bubble of moving time....

Unless perhaps the watch just slows time down a whole lot. If time is slowed down by a factor of, say, 10,000, then the air feels like mud, rather than ice, and it only takes a great deal of energy to move anything. And of course every ambient noise's frequency is dropped into the subsonic, while my voice sounds like an impossibly high squeak to those still standing around in slow time. Oh, and all the light around me is red-shifted, probably below the visible spectrum. So it'll be pretty dark...

But this is Tilted Nonsense, so I'll just answer: Women's locker room.

Fire 10-13-2009 08:49 PM

assuming no defects in movement or being able to effect the rest of the world-

and assuming that I do not age while the watch is stopped.....

I would right a lot of wrongs...I would have the time......

osama bin laden for example, would suddenly find himself in a very different situation....

I'd also find a lot of wanted criminals for the money, steal wallets just to freak people out, and look into some free strip club hopping.

Daniel_ 10-13-2009 10:59 PM

I'd pull down the trousers or underwear of people who need taking down a peg or two.

And maybe as Woods says, take things with no fear of being caught.

I'd also never be late for anything.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-14-2009 12:17 PM

So you know 'being late' is relative? Have you called your great-aunt lately?
