Round 2 - "Let it Rain"
Nice additions.
Truth be told, I guess I should have waited and garnered myself a new page to kick this new round off, as it keeps it near the top and plain for every one to see, and is just more aesthetically-pleasing (at least to me) than a few posts away from the bottom, a step away from a new page turnover. So, I'm taking this opportunity to run with it: Quote:

There's flickr, deviantart, ffffffound, vi.sualize.us, and more. Those four are expansive enough with sufficient usage of tagging that nearly anything that you'd want to find and it's available, you'll hit upon eventually. I think pixdaus is another, but they don't allow hotlinking, unlike the ones I've mentioned above.

Yeah, sorry about that... I had an unexpected weekend holiday, and there's virtually no wireless half-a-mile above sea level.
I'm back now, so I'll tally the point totals up. ---------- Post added at 02:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:42 PM ---------- So, give or take fifteen minutes, the round is now coming to a close. Last second picture sneaks are still to be accepted, but make it snappy. ---------- Post added at 03:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:44 PM ---------- Results for Rd. 2 ("Rain") of the NWS ISG are as follows: thirdsun - 5 (within 20 min... that's pretty good) -- extra +1 for the great follow-up, and DDGirls is fan-favorite site of mine. kramus - 4 +1 for the dual B&W rain shots. healer - 3 MexicanOnABike - 2 +1 for the second item I said would warrant a bonus: transparent clothing (t-shirts) Redlemon - 1 and a +1 for the third item I was looking for: "fog and/or mist" mixedmedia - 2 and a +3 for the most interesting rain shot of the round. unclephil - 0 +1 ... well, it's evidently raining in the picture, but as this is no longer the 19th century of Puritan rule, long exposed female legs are no longer considered scandalous enough to be tagged as debaucherous nudity. Good effort though. But, you do get a bonus point for first posting one of the items I was looking for: an "umbrella". Fremen: 0 And that's it. Nobody posted or found a picture for the last item I was wanting to see, which happened to be a pair of yellow rain boots. Degree of difficulty bonus, I guess. I don't know how to properly coronate a winner, but as it seems that thirdsun has both the most points awarded through rd. 2 and throughout the game so far, it seems only right that he should do the honors. It's your show now, thirdsun. Cumulative scores for the game through Round 2: thirdsun: 9 kramus: 7 mixedmedia: 6 Redlemon: 5 Jet: 5 Lucifer: 4 healer: 3 MOAB: 3 Fremen: 2 Punk.of.Ages: 1 Sticky: 1 uncle phil: 1 cheese: 0

I am going to call this theme: Rack Up the Points.
Ok, we've all seen dull and unimaginative versions of this pose, with the model's arms up and over her head, like this one: The challenge: Find the most creative and provocative rack pose (that is, arms up and over the head). Here are the stipulations: a.) the model must be female b.) both arms must be extended above or over the model's head (hands can be in the hair, extended farther overhead, etc.). If her elbows are near the same plane as her nose, it's a good shot. c.) both the "rack" and the under-arm area must be clearly visible; no shadows or poor lighting; no shots from behind d.) it must be a photo found on the internet. No creating your own photo for this theme is allowed. Because it is easy to find an abundance of these types of shots, I've decided to make this theme more difficult (and hence more rewarding) for those scavengers who really want to "rack" up the points. In addition to the standard points, rack points will be rewarded as follows: Limited at the request of the Thread Moderator. +1 point for each (any or all) of the following fetish items (5 total points possible): blindfold or scarf obscuring the model's eyes jewelry (bracelets or necklaces) collar rope (model is bound in some way) handcuffs +2 if the model is clearly kissing any part of her upper arm (biceps or triceps) +3 if the model is clearly licking any part of her upper arm (biceps or triceps). This pose is extremely rare and difficult to find. Each person has a limit of 3 shots, so pick the best ones with the most point potential as your submissions. Thanks. The winner of this theme will be the person who racks up the most points. Last edited by thirdsun; 10-20-2009 at 05:08 AM.. Reason: limit # of shots to 3; limit points at Mod Request |

THREAD MODERATOR HAT
Thirdsun, that's too many points. Someone has the potential of getting something like 30 points in this round; the maximum in a round should be more like 7 or 8. Perhaps too late to change for this round, I'll leave that to your discretion, but please everyone, in the future, no more massive point runs. / THREAD MODERATOR HAT And here's my 3 for the round. Late again.
