"Same difference!"
How can the difference between two things be the same? It's impossible because difference is the definition of difference. Seewotididther?

5-3 and 4-2, outside the context of mathematics the statement 'same difference' might as well be in another language.

Good logic skills, Hektore. |
'Same difference' is used when one person cares about the difference between two things and the another either doesn't care or doesn't see it.
'can i have the blue one?' 'we don't have blue, but we have it in the lovely cyan' 'same difference' and while i use this phrase often, that's the only example i can think of ... and it's not all that great. |
Math! You've foiled me again!
