Church, in a manner of speaking.
Laid in supplies.
Just past midday, we're going swimming.
I hope the lake isn't too big or green.

I did very little yesterday. Spent some time online doing some bidness and such. Also researched a bit on how to make my own incense. I'm obsessed atm. Can't quit buying and trying new kinds. Better than gambling or heroin, amirite?

I talked to her.
I talked to the bank.
I called back.
I talked to our neighbor & asked if I could send him a check because of the damage the youngsters did to his hot tub last night.

He laughed & said, "That wasn't your doing!"

I laughed & said, "hell, I didn't even see it! Can I send you a check?"

He said, "Don't you fucking dare?"

So I laid down & wondered some more.

I'm not sure where you live, but Costco regularly sells BEAUTIFUL boneless lamb roasts. Oregano, sea salt, pepper, fresh rosemary, freshly squeezed lemons --- throw in some cut up potatoes. Probably my favorite meat dish ever.

Today I worked. And internetted. That's about it.

I fed the fish, got some groceries,& drove halfway across town to save 60 cents per gallon of gas. Talked to my beloved, made supper, & am now enjoying the cool breezes in the backyard, watching the fish eat some more. It's been a good day.

P.S. Thanks for the fart joke,UP!

woke up, fell back asleep, woke up with a 16 lb cat on my bladder, peed (not in the bed), coordinated plans for the day with two plans, walked to the Market in disgusting heat and humidity, filled all the orders from friends for fresh things, walked home again dripping sweat, said hello to crazy old lady in the park. looked around the house, realized had no food that sounded good.

so i'm getting in the shower soon, popping 800mg of ibuprofen for the violent heat-headache, getting re-dressed, stopping by the only freestanding-Lebanese-owned-authentic Hovan in the world to pick up falafel, then heading to a friend's house to pick her up and go thrift storing and mall-ing (both of which i despise) because she turned thirty last weekend and is acutally doing something for herself and flying to new york in a few weeks to spend time with another friend who is turning thirty in brooklyn. i really hope there will be beer at some point.

Woke up around noon. Cuz I could.

Putzed around the house.

Got a wild hair to pull apart my office and deep clean. All cables, books, cd's - tangle free, dusted, organized. That was a bitch. Now I need to do the floor stacks. Tomorrow perhaps.

Now I sit, sipping some Sumatra, waiting for Cops.

Got to work a half hour late despite being in the building. Only me.

Also volunteered to work an extra shift at my other job for no pay in order to increase my overall paycheck.

Googled a friend and found out he A. was a groundbreaking journalist, and B. served 18 months for trafficking in kiddie porn.

Still a few hours left. I have to break down some boxes to get to the recycling bin.

Roseanne Roseannadanna was in my dreams. Mourning came too soon.
We had apple/onion/love apple eggs for breakfast.
We went for groceries, I enjoyed the eye candy & got questioned about slumming.
Reconstructing the globe from puzzling pieces, the numbers came clear, so we drove to a local campground & burnt some more wood.
Happily ensconced, again.
