I've yet to sleep and it's 6AM. Was in the ER last night for this chronic crap I have going on. But I did nail some percosets for my crippling abdominal agony so I'm certain I'll be bantering a good bit online today. Posting new threads, etc. I get very e-social when I'm on pain meds :o.

Ladies - this is a fantastic push up bra. First one ever, where I can bend over and when I stand up straight, I don't have to tuck them back in. A little weird with the bag of air but you can remove it. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

Had my best friend over for Tea and sugar cookies (he's on antibiotics) at 10:00PM to watch the Magnificent 7 (until about 1:30). Stayed up til 5 AM alternately Pr0nsurfing, reading Keegan's history of warfare, and updating my aquarium logs.

Breakfast, sex, lunch.

fell asleep at 1am, woke up at 4am and 7:30, watched some hulu, read a book in the tub for bad shoulder pain, played on the computer. read some more, fell asleep again (must be getting sick, never sleep this much), woke up 20 minutes ago. need to shower before the visitation tonight for my kid that died on Tuesday night.

took a Nothing day. wish i felt better to enjoy it. woke up with my ears even more stopped up than they've been all week. throat hurts. grrrreeat.

...bought $160 worth of flowering plants and now i have to plant them...what was i thinking?!??

...actually, i'm very excited about them...especially the 6 white Luna Hibiscus!
Wow...i just measured one of the blossoms and it's 7 1/2" in diameter!
They are much bigger than regular Hibiscus flowers...HUGE.

...i'll probably plant 4 together and one off by itself....and give one away as a gift.

Today we drove a little around Ft. Myers and I have concluded that it is a completely charming town...the old parts, that is. Then we drove back to Naples the long way down Highway 41. It reminded me of road trips with my grandfather when I was little. Lots of 'old Florida.' I fell asleep a little. It was nice.

Oh yea, wondered what the hell is happening with the weather in NJ this year. I had the houses of both my sister and brother-in law get bad damaged
by lighting and wind. Seriously, entire trees through the side of a house and lighting that blew the entire electric out of a house. That was not actually today but I am still helping them with it. Any any one else get wrecked with the NJ/PA/NY storms?

Well I just learned this AM that my Dad's having a quadruple bypass Monday.

we went driving around in the Everglades. Went to Indian Village, Ochopee (sp?), Everglades City...got eaten alive by mosquitoes and saw an alligator real close.

sat on the beach, then sat by the pool and sipped a few Myers/ginger ale/lime, now I'm watching the ocean. I'm in Ocean City MD, weather's gorgeous.

Became insanely jealous of BadNick.

Woke up at 7am, internetted, had a bowl of raisin bran, went to the gym at 9am, got sweaty, came home, downed some chocolate milk, watched a movie, had some applesauce, organized a movie night, getting ready for a late lunch.

Made a kickass fruit salad. And I'm about to make some kickass lamb burgers.

This seems like a waste of lamb meat. Yet, I'm sure it'll be fabulous because well... it's lamb.

I'm not sure where you live, but Costco regularly sells BEAUTIFUL boneless lamb roasts. Oregano, sea salt, pepper, fresh rosemary, freshly squeezed lemons --- throw in some cut up potatoes. Probably my favorite meat dish ever.

Today I worked. And internetted. That's about it.

I fed the fish, got some groceries,& drove halfway across town to save 60 cents per gallon of gas. Talked to my beloved, made supper, & am now enjoying the cool breezes in the backyard, watching the fish eat some more. It's been a good day.

I did absolutely nothing today. Getting ready to head into the office to clean out my things while no one's there. Nobody knows that I know I'm losing my job. Might as well get a jump on it. It's a dignity thing.

so i'm getting in the shower soon, popping 800mg of ibuprofen for the violent heat-headache, getting re-dressed, stopping by the only freestanding-Lebanese-owned-authentic Hovan in the world to pick up falafel, then heading to a friend's house to pick her up and go thrift storing and mall-ing (both of which i despise) because she turned thirty last weekend and is acutally doing something for herself and flying to new york in a few weeks to spend time with another friend who is turning thirty in brooklyn. i really hope there will be beer at some point.

Woke up around noon. Cuz I could.

Putzed around the house.

Got a wild hair to pull apart my office and deep clean. All cables, books, cd's - tangle free, dusted, organized. That was a bitch. Now I need to do the floor stacks. Tomorrow perhaps.

We went for groceries, I enjoyed the eye candy & got questioned about slumming.
Reconstructing the globe from puzzling pieces, the numbers came clear, so we drove to a local campground & burnt some more wood.
Happily ensconced, again.

Yesterday, I put together a 50 person Cost Prop in 2 hours, tore down a 55 and a 40 gallon tank and rebuilt the 55 along the Diane Walstad plan - Such a buttload of plants you would not believe. Over topsoil no less. Tonight I get to rebuild the 40 (bare bottomed, very simple. Just needs to be cleaned first.) and take down a pair of 30s.

I'm going to a Cash-For-Gold party today. Pretty sad that times are that tough nowadays - Tupperware no more. Anyways, apparently the results have been really good after selling the odd earring and ring missing the gemstone, etc. Can't wait to see how I do. This'll be Christmas cash.

Packed for trip to SLC tomorrow.

Yesterday was a wash. Did nothing but roll around in my own misery. But I feel better today. I'll be hitting the grocery store soon. Maybe pick up a nice Cabernet or something. Shit I might even get a steak. And a baked potato. Asparagus. Yeah. Nice dinner for a change. I'll have to see what they got.

Watched my mom sit in her chair with the vacuum cleaner hose in her hand,
while she watched television, and waited for more fruit flies to land.

snowy made a thread a while ago about the whole 'kitchen cure' thing. I read it and was like, 'oh that's cool' and just let it go. Well, I couldn't let it go. It's been on my mind every day to get in there and pull out everything, throw out half, etc. So I did that today. I'm about 80% done with the entire kitchen I'd say. It'll be reeeeally nice knowing what I have and where it is. :)
