ring 06-21-2009 04:37 AM

Ourcrazymodern?'s Creation:

Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and ground ginger.
Lettuce and strawberries sans pesticide.
He nestled the hearts of the lettuce,
side by side
in the center of the bowl.

& it was very good, but couldn't hold a candle to dessert.

BadNick 06-21-2009 09:03 AM

lovely! My favorite part is where the hearts of lettuce are nestled side by side. That's so romantic it made my own heart flutter.

Intensely hot for the trotting;
he forgot to bring them.

A fine Euphorbic specimen,
purchased from a knowledgeable farmerette,
has been planted and thoroughly moistened.

Galloping, they cannot fall,
but pause & ask each of their other
"Did you, since fucking, feel that?"

ring 06-24-2009 06:11 AM

I shall give the ponies direction dressages soon.

The Impact Zone

The tragic failure of these isolation tests, reluctantly devised by Trabert before his resignation, were to have bizarre consequences upon the future of the Institute and the already uneasy relationships between the members of the research staff. Catherine Austin stood in the doorway of Trabert's office, watching the reflection of the television screen flicker across the slides of exposed spinal levels. The magnified images of the newsreels from Cape Kennedy dappled the enamel walls and ceiling, transforming the darkened room into a huge cubicular screen. She stared at the transcriptions clipped to the memo board on Trabert's desk, listening to the barely audible murmur of the soundtrack. The announcer's voice became a commentary on the elusive sexuality of this strange man, on the false deaths of the three astronauts in the Apollo capsule, and on the eroded landscapes which the volunteers in the isolation tests had described so poignantly in their last transmissions.

I lay on the table, insertions disturbing, but knowing that I had more places to go - so pissed off the doctors who needed control, and weeded my way down the row.

old otis, dead and gone,
left me here to sing this song;

old otis dead and gone...
