Xmas present registry
My wife/kids want to know what I want for xmas.
Last year I got a book I have'nt read, a jet boat ride I never used, and some chocolates. The chocs were nice... So, please help me and a few other guys/gals, and tell us what you would like for a pressie. Under $50 bucks preferred, but by all means, get carried away. I'd like a DB9, but I don't NEED it. I don't really need any more tools, I got sox, thongs (flip flops, sandals), jocks. I either want cheap fun and games, or inexpensive items that I can use, not simply become dust collectors, like the antique bullet mold I got, and the leather bound vintage ships telescope I got a few years back... .

I want what you want, too Zooks.
Do you have a hoby or pursuit you want to be more invloved with next year, e.g. tennis, LEGOs, guitar? Think what you would find most enjoyable, and what you would likely use whenever possible. I could use an external HD or perhaps a gift card to the candy store virtually everyday. I might want a pet turtle since it's been decades since I had a little feller to take care of and love.

Hey we should organize a TFP DB9 Group Buy! Count me in since I actually "need" one
Othewise, for a reasonable sum under about $50 I keep asking for bottles of specialty olive oils. Can't have enough of the stuff and I use it at least once a day. A nice bottle of wine is also something I enjoy and consume. I need socks, too. Jet, about your turtle wish...I have to recommend a red eared slider. We got our Franklin about 7 years ago when he was ~3 inches front to back. Now he's almost 12" front to back...very aggressive, very healthy. I've said it before, if he was big enough I think he'd eat our whole family. Last month after some early dormancy (he goes into slow mode by mid Fall and eats very little until Spring) I found an egg in his tank/terrarium. So after all these years, now we know Franklin is really Franklina. The egg had no chance of hatching or even being fertile since Franklina has not been near another turtle since we pulled her out of her tank with her siblings, so I took it out and opened it and sure as hell, it was a real egg; almost ~2 inches long and about 1" dia.
