CSflim's Amazing test! #1
I said #1, because I may even post another! Wow! Imagine that!
Anyway, I would ask that you post your answer before reading the other replies! So anyway, here it is: I pass by a window, and peer in. I see a group of people inside. I conclude that there is (approximately) a 50% chance that two of those people share a birthday. How many people are in the room? Its not a trick question BTW. There isn't a banner hanging up inside that says "Happy Birthday John and Mary" or a pair of identical twins or anything like that! It's as straight forward as it looks! |
365
182...
I would have said 182.5, but there's been strong evidence to suggest half people don't exist...
I'll say 365 as well |
183
I'll say 4.
one- if there's a mirror!
I'll agree with 183.
365 means you're pretty much assured of a shared birthday.
I think I like the look of that 183. |
Is this a math question? I dont like those. Ahhh, I see it now... yeah I still don't like this question though...
The answer is 23 people
What's your thinking behind that answer?
i'm gonna go with 69.
and the two whose birthdays are up......they're the ones ingadged in that 69. yup .....that's it. |
I'll go with 21 - but Chantillas might be right.
You have to remember it is a 50% chance, probability/statistics are strange. |
I say, erm, mm, eenimeeniminee.......MO!
I think it's 4. Pleez, don't ask. My math skills are in that shoe box under my bed. |
30
I think it's 30 as well.
44 just a guess
