The English Langauge eh?
If you think about it, some statements don't make sense in the English language. Take these, for example...I could be wrong, maybe they DO make sense, but I can't find it...
1. A small baby Aren't all babies small? (on the scale of human development, not in comparison to another, smaller baby) 2. Stupid idiot. An idiot IS stupid, no need to call an idiot stupid... 3. A funny joke. A joke is always funny. Otherwisw it isn't a joke, it's an embarrassment. 4. An unknown/mysterious stranger. Well duh, of course a stranger is unknown...or they wouldn't BE a stranger. 5. A shambolic mess. All messes are shambolic. They're a shambles... 6. Famous star. A star that isn't famous isn't a star. Therefore a star is automatically famous. 7. A young girl/boy. All girls and boys are 'young'. Girl and Boy are basically masculine and feminine versions of 'child'. 8. An elderly pensioner. Pensioners are (generally) elderly anyway, so... These are all things I've seen written or heard spoken by people. Like I said, I'm not making out to be some sort of Super Linguist, but I think those sentences are a little whack! Any more?

That's something I commonly saw on a Macintosh Computer.
