It looks like I'm a bit over 100 miles NW of Monument Valley. I was surprised the map says it takes almost 5 hours to drive from Monument Valley to where I am. I think it's because the area is relatively remote and not many roads so the route along roads is quite circuitous.

I think I know.... would it be: Pucker pass, near Moab?

I'd have to spread about 100 miles east to reach Moab.
