Since you seem to be such a geological girl, I'll guess you're at the summit of Warm Springs Ridge in Morgan County, an area famous for some of the finest sandstone quarried in the U.S. since the mid 1800's.

I'm stumped since I thought we listed all the continents of the Northern Hemisphere. So I think any island would have to be part of one of the continents.
