Sandia Peak Tramway?
|
bingo bingo bingo....you found me, Tul. Hey, did you see Grace (ring) anywhere down there in Mexico lately?
Sandia Peak Tramway - from that wacky wiki place again http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2..._Peak_Tram.jpg The Sandia Peak Tramway, located adjacent to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, is the world's longest passenger aerial tramway. It also has the world's third longest single span. It stretches from the Northeast edge of the city to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...diatramway.jpg You're up, Tul. Go hide. |
No, sorry have not seen Grace. Of course I'm not sure I'd know her if I did see her. Remember seeing photos she's taken but none of herself. Sorry, wonder where she went?

Frankord, Ont?
I spent many a summer there as a kid and had a fantastic time, fishing and swimming in the Trent River and local creeks and ponds, running around all the farms, chasing the pigs out of their pen so we could use it as our fort...I wonder if Betty still lives there? < I don't mean in the pig pen, her dad was the town doctor so she was comfortable playing doctor...and her mom always gave us rhubarb dipped in sugar. |
Nick, no.
Phil, it's listed as "part of a municipality." It has it's own library, airport, community center etc... I can not find a pop listing, if I had to guess I'd say less then 5K. |
Are you in Goderich?
Queen Elizabeth II once commented that Goderich was "The Prettiest Town in Canada". |
No I'm not.
|
Are you at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club?
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2.../oca_logo2.gif That was the first live, in-person curling I ever saw. Perfect place, unc can golf while Tul and I throw stones, unless you'd rather sweep, Tul; afterwards we sit in the club and enjoy some brewskis. |
Soryy, no. But I'll take you up on that beer anytime.
|
I'm not heading south anytime soon but if you head this way let me know.
Is there a reason this place you are might recently have been in the news? |
Not that I know of, I pick this place because the people who stayed in my house during Feb. live there.
|
near toronto?
|
how about Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario?
...my cousin just moved there from Toronto and it's a cute little town |
No Nick.
Phil, not sure what you define as "near." I'd say I'm within a 250 mile radius. |
