Expert? No am only an expert beach bum. But I have done a bit of diving for geoducks in Tillamook Bay. Make great chowder. Friend of mine, Doug of Doug's Diving, had a compressor hookah system and we'd spend hours gathering clams. Razors brought in more money but gooey's weighed more so at a .50 a lbs still worth the effort.

I'm still thinking about Phil's clues.

My heads not working right. I blame the heat and scantly clad girls on the beach.

Hmm, are you north of 42.5?

...so you're in vermont, not on lake champlain, but you border a coast that's not oceanic? Well, lake champlain is the only "coast" there is. So you mean your state borders the coast of lake champlain but you, personally are not on lake champlain?

...are you, personally, near or on the shores of a smaller lake or river (or was that just all about the state of vermont being "coastal" but not your location)?

unc, do you hear any sounds of music...are you at the von Trappe Family Lodge?

The von Trapp family, memorialized in The Sound of Music and The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria von Trapp, fled from the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany and ended up in Vermont in 1942. In 1950, a 27-room ski lodge was opened. The lodge was destroyed by a fire, on December 20, 1980, that forced 45 people, including Baroness Maria Von Trapp, to flee in their nightclothes. In 1983 a new, Austrian-style lodge with 93 rooms was opened.
