don't forgot that not long ago, in another part of this worldy post, I said I can see Canada...and it's a large natural wonder, a beautiful place, but perhaps not as soft and warm as Ms. Smith.

When I was a kid, from the time I was about 5yo until post-college days, I spent most summers in Toronto so on the way we'd usually stop and look around Niagara Falls. Even though I've seen it so many times, I still get amazed at how powerful and beautiful it is, though the "strip" with shops and "museums" can be avoided at no loss of experience.

I've seen the falls from all angles, from the Maid of the Mist, from along the walkways near the falls, and even from a small helicopter as it flies down the river and you can see the rapids developing and then suddenly the whole bottom falls out!
