cool stuff, and it made me hungry, too, not just for knowledge but for nachos.
I'ma injun ear, too, so I make things and get paid for it no less! Your waterblocks remind me of some temperature controlled microscope stages that we made; a slab of aluminum or stainless with circuitous channels milled in them for fluid flow, and controlling the circulating fluid temp via a temperature controlled fluid reservoir. In my work we make small temperature control valves, originally it was all passive/self-operating - we didn't need no stinkin' outside power or signal sources. It was all for industrial process control applications, but lately we expanded into powered stuff, stemming from a new set of products directed at controlling wood and charcoal fired cookers/smokers; so now I can call home and via wireless control change the temp of my hunk of meat sitting on the barbie for the last 15 hours slow smoking to perfection, temp is automatically controlled via pulsing the airflow in and out of the barbie, so this controls the exact meat temp and also extends the life of the wood/charcoal since it doesn't burn faster than necessary to maintain the "low and slow" cooking philosophy. |

Fractals and poems and aquascapes and cookies and bookshelves and chipmunk noises (with Mrs. Hat as my instrument). I make outrageous claims, off kilter jokes, and killer ale. I make a scene a caution a stink and a commotion.
