If there was a Titlted Canada Board...

If there was a Titlted Canada board the I would post a thread mentioning that I am in TO today. But alas, there is not so I won't.

Charlatan 08-25-2007 01:22 AM

Damn... you are in TO? Would that I was there to meet you!

I'd even buy you a Tim Horton's or a, gasp, a beer.

(next time post well in advance in the Tilted Events section and I am sure you can drag one of the Toronto bunch out).

Leto 08-25-2007 03:04 AM

you were in Toronto yesterday!! So was I. dammit.

Crack 08-25-2007 06:06 PM

it would be filled with aboots

aboot this, and aboot that.

fresnelly 08-25-2007 06:54 PM

And here I am in Toronto with extra butter tarts to share.

Darn, eh?

Sticky 08-27-2007 09:08 AM

Quick weekend family trip.

I like the idea of this thread though.

"If there was a Titlted Canada Board... "
...I would post a thread about the SuperSeries and mention that Canada won the opening game today.

Leto 08-27-2007 11:27 AM

mmmmm butter tarts.... I just lost about 5 lbs that I need to restore.

Ahh SuperSeries!!! Da Da Kanada, Nyet nyet Soviet... (ok, so it's dated)

Charlatan 09-07-2007 07:25 PM

OK... I posted this elsewhere but I think it can work.

We can create our own Canada board by prefacing the Subject of all Canada threads like this:

CANADA: It Tim Horton's a front for an Alien invasion
Canada: Does Harper look fat in this vest?
Canada: Ode to my poutine

Then, when you do a search by thread and use Canada, it should bring up all the Canada threads. No?

Then you can post Canada thread everywhere (General Discussion, Politics, Nonsense, etc.). Infiltration by Canadization.

...damn. Butter Tarts?!?! I haven't had butter tarts in a long time.

Ourcrazymodern? 09-09-2007 12:10 PM

I wish I was a butter tart
Or knew what one was...

Sion 09-09-2007 07:28 PM

butter tart?

is that like when you pour melted butter on a naked woman?

Fremen 09-10-2007 01:46 AM

Mmmmm, buttered naked women....*drools*

Can I get a ticket to this Canadia you speak so glowingly of?

Leto 09-10-2007 06:03 AM

Ahh yes, the fabled butter tart. We have led the world to bellieve that it is a tastey pastry.... whereas you supper savvy TFP'ers have tumbled upon the sickly sweet truth!

Nothing like a drippy drooly all Canadian butter tart.....
