As a preface, sorry I'm posting more than one picture, but they're all so interesting
Toad
Amazon Expedition Discovers Dozens of New Animals Sporting a flashy pattern of lavender on black, this newfound species of toad is among two-dozen animals that scientists discovered recently in the highlands of the northern Amazon. Among the new creatures are four frogs, six species of fish, a dozen kinds of dung beetles, and a type of ant never before seen by scientists. Researchers made the finds during a survey of remote plateaus in eastern Suriname from 2005 to 2006 More Portrayals ( please link only the one picture above, though) Let's Be Friends! vent on wall
Students allowed to vent on wall (China Daily) The No 5 Senior Middle School in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, has recently built a 25-meter-long paper wall to let its students vent their frustrations. The special wall aims to let students speak their minds, or just put graffiti on to express their feelings and release pressure. source: China Daily Website - Connecting China Connecting the World Last edited by BadNick; 07-14-2009 at 12:47 PM.. |

Going up? by F/Depth Photography ---------- Post added at 08:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:51 AM ---------- They have this same kind of wall in Denmark, and I'm sure, various other parts of the world, where they architect some grand scheme "blank canvas" monolith, and invite residents to add their names and signatures to the historical project. This is known as the Elephant's Trunk Nebula
I've always thought of it as a wonderfully phallic image. Here is an image of the Pelican Nubula: Doesn't it make the perfect vulva to receive the Elephant's Trunk?
