shirtless
(I've got to tell you, honestly; it took me a full 15 min. to search my repository of 4,700+ pictures for at least one photo that did not include either tittilating female nipple... or on the off-occasion, hairy-man belly) so again, shirtless http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/2922/melanyjolie.jpg |

(Taken on April 6, 2008) Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. `'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door - Only this, and nothing more.' |

awesome globe http://farm1.static.flickr.com/124/3...d0b2928a6b.jpg Invention: Idea Globe™ or Polar Chalk Board by tacoma-webmaster Don't have much room for a full white board or maybe you think chalk boards are outdated and take up too much invaluable wall space? Why not build yourself a handy desktop Idea Globe™! Ingredients: 1. Used classroom globe 2. Chalkboard Paint 3. Spackle 4. Newspapers 5. Gesso (with squirt of black acrylic paint). 6. Coat Hanger Directions remove earth globe from mount, bend coat-hanger into strait wire. stick through globe. hang the skewered planet over a layer of newspapers, sandpaper globe smooth using Spackle in any cracks. After every sanded Spackling job paint with a coat of black gesso. This will show you where you need more spackle in addition to getting things dark and primed for the eventual chalkboard paint. When the paint is dry roll up the layer of newsprint careful not to spill any dust or paint drips and throw it in the trash. Re-bend the coat hanger back and return to closet. Mount the sphere into the globe mount. Now you are ready to give it a test-writing. |
Jet, I like that Idea Globe idea and will make one this weekend

Wow, you already have 256% more initiative than I do! (and you group your pictures into neat, tidy folders, too! I'm guessing.)
Post a picture of your splendid efforts afterwards. (I need a camera anything .. I should take more initiative and go out and buy one already :( ) Internet Explorer (If it's in your interest, I'd recommend the more integrally-secure, superbly fast, and extremely innovative Opera, but that's just my buddy nature) http://th01.deviantart.net/fs19/300W...o_by_chisa.jpg Artist's Comments This may seem a bit evil, but trust me, if you're a web designer and have ever tried to get something to work nicely in Internet Explorer (especially <6) you'll understand the feeling of wanting to stab it. Repeatedly. My first plushie! Very crappily made on a whim, but I think my workmates will appreciate it. It's made of super cheapo felt from a discount store, stuffed with same cheapo felt, with a dead face embroidered on for good measure. Was fun though, gonna try make some (non voodoo) plushies in future! |
btw, below pic is a "Wall-E-Sandwich"

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...tfrontpage.jpg Basically, I hate Microsoft software for the most part but have surrendered to the harsh reality that I have to use their crap. Back when Netscape was in its heyday, I resolved to never use Microsoft products. But then things changed....I have often thought of using Opera since I've heard nothing but good things about it. Maybe I'll try it out to see how it feels. |
you said you'd be making the "idea globe" over the weekend (or soon thereafter); I wanted to see if you'd actually come close to a finished product as it was outlined above. Also, if you own the Realplayer media program (now endorsed by google), I believe it has a small version of Netscape within its media browser. It's missing a few plugins, but it works as a "mini-browser" in a pinch.

Jainism (dharmic pacificism)
...is an ancient dharmic religion from India that prescribes a path of non-violence for all forms of living beings in this world. Its philosophy and practice relies mainly on self-effort in progressing the soul on the spiritual ladder to divine consciousness. Any soul which has conquered its own inner enemies and achieved the state of supreme being is called jina (Conqueror or Victor). http://farm1.static.flickr.com/63/18...cb34b5521a.jpg The coat by ndemi A fylfot on Chodakowska Street, Warsaw, Poland. |
