Erie Lackawanna GP35 #2559 by jeffs4653 author's comments: Photographed in Ridgewood NJ in 1967. EL 2559 GP35 was built in September 1964. The EL Diesel Roster does not indicate a retirement date, so it may still be in use somewhere. Scanned from a Kodachrome slide.

I don't know, but I did just realize there was another thread similar to this one before she thought this one up (and truth be told, I was thinking about creating this thread myself at the same time it popped up, but I had a "premiere date" set for the week after its eventual creation here, and now).
SP 2467 by SP8254 Steam Engine for the Southern Pacific Railroad, as seen in the California State Railroad Museum (Also, I think its made possible by the painstaking efforts of me, as the unofficial moderator for this topic, Esoteric, LoganSnake, Fly, BadNick, and a few others, and noodle's blunder about the numbers a few dozen pages back that allowed this to happen: pictures of numbers following the actual post # in the thread. Just genious.)
