Will Trudeau run?

This article cites speculation that Justin Trudea will run in a by-ellection for this seat.

His announcement leaves the Montreal riding of Outremont open. Many have speculated that Justin Trudeau is making a bid for the seat, though he has not confirmed the rumours.
Anybody else, besides me, not at all interested in seein Justin Trudeau in politics?

I have to agree that I would rather it be him then Sacha, but still.

It could be interesting to see him run but I am not convinced it will mean much initially, especially for those who are looking for an other Trudeau Sr.

He has some very big shoes to fill.

I don't have any particular interest either way. Anybody can get elected once. He has to prove himself in the political arena to gain any real cred.

I only hope the Liberals are smart enough not to try and capitalize on his name. That would be tacky and nobody would by it.

APPARENTLY he's very charismatic, intelligent, and hard working. I'm not so much interested in him running, but I am interested in what he does when he's in office.

And Agreed with Fresnelly, I hope they just let him earn his own name and reputation.

-I'd like to see him run, but he'll be haunted by his fathers name if he wins or loses , so the kids got some big shoes to fill as Charlatan said.

Unless he can bring a vision of equality that is sorely lacking in this country to all people and provinces, then I don't want to hear about it. But he is a Quebecer and comes from a province that produces and covets the biggest root of inequality,... linguistically, distinctively and so-called culturally.

If he can make Quebecers realize they are no better or worse off than the rest of Canadians, but are EQUAL and not SPECIAL,..I then will listen.

As long as Ben Mulroney doesn't decide to run for anything I'm happy.

Apparently, Justin has decided to run.

Thing is, he's not the old man. In fact, I'm not so sure he's even a chip off the old block. Then again, males supposedly inherit their IQ from their mothers.

I think it was pretty clear he was running when he was on the Mercer Report showing Rick around Carnival in Quebec City.

I am taking a wait and see. I haven't seen him speak enough.
