A protestor held up a sign saying "Make Love, not War" outside the meeting between MacKay and Rice.

There has apparently been very little in the way of protesting at the event -- MacKay is a darling of his riding.

He's definitely banging her, or at the very least, getting all squishie with her.

He even took her home to meet mom and dad.

The thing I find nasty about this, is that just because Condi is a single, attractive woman, she is paired up with any relatively handsome foreign diplomat she has dealings with... Last year it was Jack Straw (or some other UK diplomat).

Are the press corps so desperate to make politics sexy that they have to lower themselves to this? It's sickeningly sexist.

She took Jack Straw to Alabama to a College Football game.

Her and MacKay have seen each other about 7 times since the Conservatives have been elected.

Good for them.

as someone has said, MacKay is the first canadian politician since Trudeau who's sex life the Canadian media has talked about..
I can honestly say I don't really care. (better date her though than Belinda date Tie Domi..)

Would have been nice on 9/11 if Rice went to Newfoundland and personally thanked the province that did the most for those on that day,..ie hundreds of flights and thousands of people safe on land, but instead she went to MacKays riding.

If I were him I would feel cheap and used.

I think he shoudl have felt that way after the whole Stronach debacle.

There is no one in Washinton I have more respect for than Condi, but she aint a looker.
