well overnight here it snowed about 2" aka ~ 50mm but by the time I woke up ~6:30am it was raining but still below freezing air temp, so it turned into a thick sheet of ice. As I was having my coffee (in my den on my favorite chair) the rain melted some of the snow so it was already turning into slush...rain all morning so more slush. I think they're predicting more snow tonight. That suggests I should predict snowy but since she rarely shows up here I'll go with Tully since they both end in "y"

Right now it's 35F and predicted to creep up to 39F by 6pm, then back down to 37F through tomorrow. Thursday & Friday are supposed to be in the low 30F's and Saturday & Sunday in the low 20F's. Pretty much normal winter weather for around here.

Ocm?, for me the upper midwest has a lot of nice things about it but the Winter is not one of them.

I feel the same way about summer down here. It's just too freaking HOT. I keep thinking I'll get used to it. I wonder if I'll stop thinking that after 5, 10 or even 20 years?

Phil's got the right idea. Migration.

Right Phil?

(Tul, maybe it make sense to slowly creep in a more temperate direction until you stop having thoughts about it being too hot or cold. I suggest trying southern Peru or nothern Chile.)
