The TFP Mountain Dew Challenge!!!

inspired by this thread here

I am at 2 for the day, who is with me? Anyone else a slave to the stuff?

The goal will be 5000 by the end of September!
I think if we can pull this off, we can completely negate the push-up thread!

Lets get going!

Starting at 2.

(Only Mt. Dew-heads needed, none of this diet coke nonsense)

I'm not usually a Mountain Dew drinker, but last night was rough. We had a blackout, so with the temperatures as high as they were, we were all sleeping in the basement, and Tigger did not sleep well, which means I did not sleep well. In short: I'm finishing up a Dew right now.

Dew #3

I don't see why not, as long as it's *real* Coke.

I've had nothing but Diet Pepsi for the last 3 days. I can't back down from a challenge though so I'm going to the store tonight and buying a few cases. 5000 will be no problem with my drinking habits

Mountain Dew is a fiendish caffiene and sucrose delivery device disguised as a soft drink. It's vaguely citrusy flavor and cloying sweetness appeals to the coffee intolerant who can't abide a decent cola.

When the coffee ran out Saturday, I lifted one from my son's cooler. I survived, so add 1, crack!

We were up to 10 counting what people above said they'd had but didn't update the total.

I'm post dating, but I've had 4 since you started keeping track (even though I didn't know you were keeping track).

So that puts us at 14. I'll have to get myself a 36 pack when I get back from vacation.

I'd be suprised if you couldn't get it where you live, Nancy. I've had it all over Europe, though Europeans tend to make it with actual sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, so it tastes different. It's an important thing to have.

I decided to cut out caffeine yesterday, so I won't be adding to the total. And, to everyone else in the thread, you don't have to wait for Crack to change the numbers. Just read along and add yours to the thread. But use the tags [ size="7" ] and [ b ] so that the caffeine-addled don't have to look so hard. So, we have:

Dew Count 18

After a late night of gaming, my friend and I each drank one of those fridge mates. So thats a dozen more (don't think I should count him as he does not come to TFP) which makes
31 Dews

Do amps count? It's basically condensed mountain dew but it's labeled as an 'energy drink' (Which it's... well... Not)
