I'm not usually a Mountain Dew drinker, but last night was rough. We had a blackout, so with the temperatures as high as they were, we were all sleeping in the basement, and Tigger did not sleep well, which means I did not sleep well. In short: I'm finishing up a Dew right now.

Mountain Dew is a fiendish caffiene and sucrose delivery device disguised as a soft drink. It's vaguely citrusy flavor and cloying sweetness appeals to the coffee intolerant who can't abide a decent cola.

When the coffee ran out Saturday, I lifted one from my son's cooler. I survived, so add 1, crack!

We were up to 10 counting what people above said they'd had but didn't update the total.

I'm post dating, but I've had 4 since you started keeping track (even though I didn't know you were keeping track).

So that puts us at 14. I'll have to get myself a 36 pack when I get back from vacation.

I'd be suprised if you couldn't get it where you live, Nancy. I've had it all over Europe, though Europeans tend to make it with actual sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, so it tastes different. It's an important thing to have.
