Gearing up for the playoffs.... Canadian style....
So... whos up to getting peppar sprayed on the red mile? The guy I work with was the guy on the news that got pulled over for being overly excited. I think that the only team with a chance at anything will be Calgary. Edmonton and Montreal have very difficult series against some very good teams. Any thoughts? |

| Psycho Location: Yellowknife, NWT | I get to do something cool this year. Tomorrow I fly for school down into Oiler Country and I get to observe the beast in its natural habitat. I'm buying a $200 dollar TV adapter for my laptop so I can watch and record the playoffs, but other than that will probly just drink a ton during the games. My team is out, but it won't stop me from cheering for all Canadian teams outside of Calgary (I don't trust em, they have shifty eyes)

| Rawr! Location: Edmontania | I'll be cheering for the oilers. I don't know if their momentum can push them to equal terms with detroit though. We don't have a good record with them and they are an intimidating team

I only care the Sens are completely healthy, with the exception of Hasek of course. But, Emery's been playing pretty well in his stead, so I think they have a good chance to go the distance.

| Junkie Location: At my daughter's beck and call. | Personally, I love the resurgence of "nos glorieux". Gainey has been great, although his refusal to ride a hot goaltender, Huet, is a mite bit confusing.

| who ever said streaking was a bad thing? Location: Calgary | Well, as much as I like Huet, the fact that he has no playoff experience might be a problem. But then again, the goalie he's playing against probably has just as much experience as him. I would go with Huet until he starts to tank.... if not.... then hopefully Montreal would have a run for the cup. |

Last I checked, Gainey was going with Huet in the first round. Unless Huet lets pucks in like a sieve, I think Aebischer will be watching this game from the sidelines.

I'd be happy, as an 8th seed, for accomplishing that. Let's see how they do the rest of the way... all three games of it ... I kid, I kid....

Habs go up 3-0. Then are down 4-3, then up 5-4, then its tied, and 2OT to decide. Games that have those sort of momentum shifts are simply amazing to be part of.

| Non-smokers die everyday Location: Montreal | *sighs* not looking good for the Habs... they started off strong, but the last 3 losses have been a kick in the nuts. With Koivu out because of bad doo-da stick to the fucking eyeball luck, the team lacks central leadership. Kovalev and Zednick try to keep the pace going, but the team as a whole better realize they're about to get tossed out at the first stop.

| Addict | Well I'm leaving in 10 minutes for the Scotiabank Place and those Sens better not pull another goal for goal game. They lose tonight and they got a bit of a rough road ahead. And if Spezza does that stupid back pass one more time I'm gonna throw my purse at him. Ok maybe just my cherry lipbalm. |
