Your Mathematics Formulas

Introduction:

Around 12 years ago I was in school and I was always trying to come up with formulas. I have mainly been interested in the theory of "Energy cannot be created or destroyed". The principle of one invention was an air ball in water which would come up and push a wheel to produce electricity and then we insert the ball "ping pong" in the bottom of the water bucket somehow, via an opening to make it come upwards to push the wheel again to create electricity.

This invention did not work and I tried years later to use formulas from physics about a rotating fan. The momentum of a rotating fan with a ball on its tip is higher if the ball is further away. As the axe rotates and the ball is on the axe, it would move further away and the energy would increase. I had formulas for it, and in time, I deduced that there is no way to create or destroy energy unless it is by nuclear reaction. Fusion, Fission, etc

However I came with a theory in Logic design circuits which worked. There are methods to create logic circuits using PICs (programmable interrupt controllers). These methods were done on paper and it was only possible to create a 2d simple logic design since a paper can hold 2dimensions. It was possible to make 3d design with very limited space. However I made a method to make an nD logic design on a paper. The Dimensions were no more a problem, and it was possible to make complicated logic designs on a paper. My professor found it interesting. This was in 1999 or 2000.

The above does not relate to this subject. However I have to introduce myself or my work initially before posting the hypothesis. Since the formula is in my head, I'll start now.

PS: If you have made any valid formula, you’re welcome to post here as mathematics formulas are the subject of concern.

Formula Purpose: Prove that we have to pray to God

Data input: Subjective in favor of: "God does not exist"

Variable Definitions:
Person = being that has 100 years lifespan
NP% = Percentage of truth that God doesn’t
P% = Percentage of truth that God exists
A = Number of years of enjoyment in the after life
B = Number of years of a Person’s happiness in the current life
Hll = Years of happiness in Hell
Hvn = Years of happiness in Heaven
T = Total years of happiness for a person
MP = Maximum number of years of life possible if God exists or doesn’t exist
FH = Final happiness factor for a person in percentage

Values:

Miracles, prophets, Holy books, majority, billions of believe in God and his existence. Messengers came every few hundred years all indicating towards God. The miracle of Yusuf who opened the river of water, Jesus cured the blind, the people of Loot whom God warned but they refused, then God told their prophet to leave their town because he will destroy it with stones. Then God destroyed it with the volcano stones as archeologists are discovering now. It’s in the Perished Nations video of Harun Yahya. Frankly I would say the probability that God exists is more than 70%.

HOWEVER to be entirely subjective to the favor of “God doesn’t exist, we will say that P is only 1%!

Hence:
P% = 1%
NP% = 99%

Data:
Hell = 0 years (zero happiness in hell)
Hvn = x years (as x tends to infinity)

Formulas:
P% + NP% = 100% (he either exists, or doesn’t exist)
T = P% * A years + B years = 1% * A years + B years
MP = Hvn * (P% + NP%) = x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%
FH = T / MP = (1% * A years + B years) / (x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%)

Result to find:
FH

Case 1 (If Person doesn’t believe in God):
Person doesn't believe in God and do all he pleases and get wealthy, does all he wants. This is not the case since God will not make you a happy person in your heart even if you are a non believer even if you are wealthy. But we will assume it is the case to be in favor “God doesn’t exist”.

B = 100 years (enjoys fully his life)

A = Hll = 0 years

T = 1% * 0 years + B
T = 1% * 0 years + 100 years

FH = (1% * 0 years + 100 years) / (x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%)
FH = 0 years / infinity years + 0%
FH = 0% + 0% = 0%

Case 2 (If Person believes in God):
Person enjoys life and prays to God and reaps the fruits of life without committing sins. In this case God will fill his life with joy, but we’ll assume he enjoys only a quarter of his life only to be in favor of "God doesn't exist".

B = 25 years (enjoys half his life)

A = Hvn = x years (as x tends to infinity)

T = 1% * x years (as x tends to infinity) + B
T = 1% * x years (as x tends to infinity) + 25 years

FH = (1% * x years (as x tends to infinity) + 25 years) / (x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%)
FH = (1% * x years (as x tends to infinity) / (x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%)
+ (25 years) / (x years (as x tends to infinity) * 100%)
FH = (1%) * 1 + 0% = 1%

Conclusion:

We have taken high subjectivity towards “God doesn’t exist” and still, we get an FH factor of 1% if we believe in God, and an FH factor of 0% if we don’t believe in God. This means that a person will get one more percentage of having a happy eternal life if he believes believe in God. Even if one gets most out of his life and become happy all the time, the person will obtain an FH factor of 0% if he doesn’t believe in God. Each FH percent counts because FH is the most important thing to a human being. Even though people have tons of cares, friendship, people, science, etc; a person’s own happiness is most important thing to him. A person will get an FH% = 70% or more if he is objective and considers both sides instead of being biased towards the side of “God doesn’t exist” only.

You lost me at this formula

T = P% * A years + B years = 1% * A years + B years

isn't T = A + B?
Why are you multiplying by P%

I don't get it? Is this another nanotech philosophy thread that got booted to nonsense? Or is it supposed to be a joke? What edits did analog make to the post? What? Who? How? Aughhhhhh! (*boom* head asplodes).

I just blew the dust off of this post from several years ago...

Quote:
Giant Taco was a close, personal friend of mine.

We took calculus together in school.

He would always tell me, “GH, a taco is the solid formed by bending a circular tortilla around a cylinder and filling it to the border. A natural problem is to find the cylinder that yields the taco of largest volume for a tortilla of a unit radius. For circular cylinders the volume of the taco is a Bessel function of the cylinder's radius, and for cylinders with other familiar cross-sections the volume of the corresponding taco also involves special functions. But in each case, with the aid of a computer algebra system the methods of calculus can be applied to find the taco of maximal volume. However, the general case is a nontrivial problem in the calculus of variations. The existence of a taco of maximal volume for a suitably general class of cylinders can be proved, and numerical experiments are given to show how the shape and volume of this "world's largest taco" can be approximated. This formula will lead me to the taco of my dreams.”

I miss him.

I'm a bit confused about it also.

I left it alone - both because I forgot all my maths, and because it would have been impossible to enter with a standard alphabet anyways.

For the record, I rather like Maxwells Equations.

Actually....this was a serious post from a "temporary" member. I left it up for entertainment purposes, and to explain this individuals temporary status. The Edit was for the removal of Spam he placed in every single post he made on these boards. We did try to guide him away from this practice....alas, we failed.But to be honest....after five PM's, two thread deletions and several discussion....he just wasnt worth continued effort.

Ok, I get it now. It's basically a pseudo-mathematical statement of Pascal's Wager.

Remember kids:

Rule 1: If your unconvincing old-hat argument doesn't seem to cut the mustard: throw in a boat load of formal symbols and mathematic notation. Notation means its logically water-tight, and thoroughly profound. A major improvement.[^1]

Rule 2: If your argument is so muddled and unclearly stated that nobody can follow it; you win! Your argument is so deep that nobody can hope to understand it, much less refute it!

[1]: Let Q be a function, Q: A -> R, where A is the set of arguments, where an argument is an ordered list of words, and R is the set of real numbers. We state an ordered list of words a1, such that Q(a1) = q. Next we define a function F where F: A -> A. F uniquely maps each word w, in the ordered list of words a1, to a subset of W; SL where SL is defined as S U L, (the set of symbols union the set of letters).
Q(a1) < Q(F(a1)) for all a1 є W.
