I've been wondering... Since avo's that are *almost* ripe taste a bit like bananas, are these the ones everyone's putting sugar on?

BTW, just thought I'd mention something I found highly UNamusing when I lived in Fresno, CA... I could not get a decent avocado to save my life. Even the ripest of ripe ones tasted like bananas. I was not a happy girl.

I soooooooo envy your ass. I wanted some in our back yard, but it doesn't get enough sun.

I'm quite fond of the avocado. I guess I'm an avocado purist, because I like to eat them without salt or milk and sugar. If I do add stuff though, I prefer making guacamole. I've also had an avocado smoothie before which was interesting. I think I have to try it again before I decide if I like it or not.
