Punch suggestions?
So I'm going to a potluck for Easter, and I'm supposed to bring something to drink. Since I like cooking, I thought I'd just make some punch at home, and I was wondering if any of you people had some ideas?

Alcoholic or non-alcoholic?
|
Well, either, though preferably non-alcoholic.

Ball your hand into a tight fist, index and middle knuckles forming the forefront. Pull back...
Okay, I don't have the exact recipe on me, but it goes something like this (it's my Aunt's): 2-3 cans pink lemonade concentrate 4-6 litres gingerale (either gingerale or 7-UP. I say gingerale but not positive) ice cubes That's pretty much it. I don't think she has any "secret" ingredient or anything. |
It's a little bridal showerish, but for the above punch, instead of ice cubes, take a jello mold, or a pie tin and fill it with pink lemonade - or regular lemonade if you are anti puke bridal shower pink - slice up some strawberries and put it in the pie tin... and freeze it -- that becomes the ice for the punch.
------------- Fruit punch 3 qt. orange juice 2 qt. pineapple juice 2 liters Sprite juice from 10 oz. jar maraschino cherries 4 cups ice cubes 1 med. orange - sliced 1 med. lemon - sliced 1 med. lime - sliced -Combine juices, soda, and grenadine in a punch bowl. -Add ice. -float fruit on top |
Sherbert Punch:
Rasberry sherbert (1 container) (you can use orange sherbet too) 1 and 1/2 of the (2 liter) bottles of 7-Up soda Let the sherbet half way melt . . . and mix in a large bowl :) It's refreshing and tasty. It's easy, delicious and i've made it several times and had requests for the 'difficult recipe' every time :D It's so simple, it looks fancy ;) Sweetpea |

Also try mixing the Raspberry and Orange in the same bowl of punch. Its pretty good. |
Thanks. I ended up going with "Blauwkamp Punch". It's:
2 liters of 7-up 48 oz of pineapple juice 1 qt of lime sherbet |
