Chinese Take-out- Request for recipe
I've searched the forum and haven't found anything like this.
Ive been trying to no avail to recreate plain fried rice. I'm looking for the stuff that just has rice and eggs. I've tried probably 8 or 9 different recipes for it but I'm barely in the ballpark. Does anyone have a recipe for it or have any idea on how it's made? Thanks in advance for any help! |

Here's the 'recipe' I use for fried rice that my wife goes bonkers for:
One half large onion, chopped 2-5 cloves of garlic, minced 1-2 Tb FRESH ginger, minced 3/4 of one egg about 1.5 cups of rice. soy sauce Coat the rice with the egg mixture, set aside. Sweat the onions until they're a *bit* less cooked than you like them. Add ginger, cook a bit longer. Add garlic. careful not to burn. Finaly, turn heat to high, toss in rice/egg, stir in soy sauce, continue stirring until done.
