Home Cafe
I purchased a Folger's Home Cafe coffee maker the other day and I can not be more pleased with it. It makes some of the best coffee that I have ever had in LESS THAN A MINUTE! I admit that it can be a little messy, (it splatters and drips after it is done) but that does not do anything to take away from what it does.
The one big thing that I didn't like when I bought it was that if you would like to make a 14 ounce cup of coffe you are supposed to use 2 of the coffee "pods" (the packets of coffee and filter, very convenient), but I found that you do not need to do this, the coffee is still very good if you use only one for a 14 ounce mug. |
I've seen those advertised... and they look interesting... I am pretty much a coffee snob, I like it fresh ground, can you create your own "pods" or are you stuck with Folgers?
I'm sure you are paying for the convenience... what's the pricing like on the pods. |
I haven't tried making my own pod, but a lot of different companies make the pods, or are going to be making them. As for price, I picked up a bag of 18 for a little under $4 I believe, and I found some coupons online for some more.
