Favorite Hot Sauce?

My all-time favorite is, of course, Tapatio. I put this stuff on my burritos, roasted chicken, burgers...just about anything! It's one of the few hot sauces that actually have a tasty flavor along with the spiciness. I even bought a box of Tapatio packets from Smart'N'Final so I have Tapatio for lunch at work.

2nd favorite is Sriracha. You can put this stuff in soup (like Pho), or on any asian noodle dish and it makes it taste amazingly good and spicy!

What's your favorite?

I like Tony Chachere's. It's a creole type of flavor. It's a powder and not a sauce, though. I like to stick with standard or smoked tabasco as far as sauces go.

Hmmm I started eating Tabasco sauce on my eggs when I was 18 months old, so not much is "hot" to me anymore.

I really enjoy a can of chipotle in adobo sauce... I cook a lot with that. To me, the challenge is finding something that is both hot and flavorful. And since I am buzzed at the moment, I can't quite mentally compile a list.

Chef Paul Prudhomme's Pepper sauce is quite good. Don't know if the still make it anymore. I haven't been able to find it lately. Of course, I live in Minnesota, so there isn't a great variety of spicey food available.

This is my all time favorite. It goes well on hotdogs, pizza, mexican food, stir fry, etc. etc. You can also use it to make spicy tuna sushi rolls.

I am not a fan of watery hot sauces like Tabasco.

I'm probably gonna get shit for this but I like the green tabasco. It's a little milder and it has a good tang to it. I also like Tapatio.

Franks Redhot. I put on everything from pizza, to sandwiches. It comes in original, Franks Redhot XTRA (for those who like LOTS of bite), and this new Redhot chili 'n Lime stuff thats pretty good too if you like lime. What I like about it is the insane ammount of flavour. Its not just burn you're asshole hot with no taste at all. mmmmmmm...*going to drink the sauce*

I like Stubb's Wicked Wing Sauce. You cant' always find it since it is THE spiciest sauce I've ever had the pleasure of burning my insides with.

Crystal's Hot Sauce...makes better chicken wings than tobasco, but a *whole* lot cheaper.

Bunkka Brown's Jerk sauce is also pretty darn good...though not a traditional hot sauce.
