Red Lobsters Chedder Bay Biscuits
For anyone who eats at Red Lobster, you know those Biscuits are the best. But does anyone know the recipe for them. It would be nice to make em at home and not pay the for the expenisive meal. my grandmother got close once, but there was just something missing.

These are so awesome! My Step-Mother made the exact replica of them, she used to work for Red Lobster. I will look for her old recipe book and see if I can find it for you!

Let me know if you guys find an 'exact' recipe. Here are the closest two clones I can find.
Ingredients: 2 C. Bisquick 1/2 C. cold water 3/4 C. grated, sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 C. butter 1 tsp. parsley flakes 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning Preparation: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together baking mix, cold water, and grated cheese. Roll out biscuits in a floured surface. Biscuits should be approximately one inch thick. Cut biscuits with a cutter, and place onto an ungreased baking dish. Melt butter and seasonings together. Brush with the butter and spices and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. However, you cannot make the EXACT biscuits, because they have a special butter/garlic sauce that is not available to the general public. See how they are!! Ingredients: 2 C. Bisquick 2/3 C. milk 1/2 C. shredded Cheddar Cheese 1/2 C. butter or margarine, melted 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Preparation: Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cooking sheet. Bake 8- 10 min until golden brown. Mix butter and garlic powder. Brush mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet |

this recipe in its entirety can be found at a site called The Secret Chef. I started a thread here http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...&threadid=6144 that has the link to the site... it has all those restaurant favorites. And the Cheddar Bay Biscuits are there, too
Enjoy. |
