Deer Sausage?
First time post in Tilted Cooking folks :)
Tonight all I have in my house is potatoes and deer sausage... Whats the best way to cook deer sausage? |
Depending on how the sausage was made (i.e., if the butcher added pork or seasonings, like they do here), its often a bit dry. Quick on the grill or quickly browned and then simmered in beer and maple syrup is how we last did it....

make a meat loaf of deer burg by adding a can of corn beef hash to 1 pound of burg

My friend just shared some deer sausage with me. Man was it good. He put a little too much garlic in it, but it was great. I tried the above, simmer in beer and maple syrup, and that was the shit!
