kurty[b]'s Recipe of the Week (March 1st, 2004) Tasty Orange Chops
I don't have time to cook more than once or twice a week, and I don't like posting recipes I have not already cooked. So, I will start with recipes I have cooked and enjoy thoroughly.
Tasty Orange Chops Ingredients 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed 1/2 cup minced onion 1 teaspoon dried rosemary 1 teaspoon ground sage 2 teaspoons salt 1 clove crushed garlic 1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce 4 pork chops Directions 1 - Wash and pat dry the pork chops. Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, orange juice, onion, rosemary, sage, salt, garlic and barbecue sauce in a glass bowl. Place chops in a large resealable plastic bag, add the marinade and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours or overnight. 2 - Preheat grill for high heat. 3 - Oil grate and grill chops turning once until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. kurty's notes - I love this recipe. It is a marinade so prep it the night before you plan to cook it (or morning before if you have time). The chops come out tasting great, and are perfectly tender and delicious. If you try the recipe out, please provide Taste Results.
