i have used a 35 dollar webber smoker/grill from wal mart. great little grill and ive definatly gotten my money from it....

however, it is time to upgrade!
i was thinking of something was less work to fuel while still delevering a good 5 - 8 hour smoking experience....

I got the Charbroil Electric Water Smoker from Home Depot (about $65, see link ) and love it. I got some smoking chips from smokingchips.com and have made some great stuff in it. I always feel less manly with the electric than with a charcoal model, but the end result is so good that I get over it. Plus, it is so easy, that I can actually get other things accomplished before my awesome meal...somehow, the work is never bad knowing what is to come...
