Scottish Sausage

Its a good change from pork.

SCOTTISH SAUSAGE

INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs Lean ground beef
1c. Water
2-½ tsp salt
2 tsp Accent
½ to 1 tsp ground sage
1 ½ tsp coriander
1 ½ black pepper
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ground red pepper
1 ½ cups cracker crumbs (saltines) or bread crumbs your choice.

Put all dry ingredients together, and mix well.
Add meat and water mix very well
I use my hands for this. I find that it does the best job. Put
Meat into a loaf pan and freeze for about 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours. Then take it
Out of freezer and cut into slices, then separate slices with wax paper
And then freeze. Then you can use a needed.

My dad gave me this recipe and I make it a lot during the winter. I hope you
Will try it. I use the high end of the seasonings. And sometimes a little more

Sounds interesting; I'd like to try it, but what is Accent?
